Epic and beautiful cedar of Biblical times, now quite rare - Cedar of Lebanon is mentioned over 70 times in the bible. "Behold, I will liken you to a cedar in Lebanon, with fair branches and forest shade." Famous for its durability and vast forests , only a 12 groves remain in Lebanese mountains. Can grow to 130 feet, full sun, cold and drought-hardy. Slow-growing tree usually lives 150-300 years.
