Portulacaria afra 'Variegata' --Variegated Manny Elephant Food--

AKA "Dwarf Jade Plant" and "Rainbow Bush", this is a bushy succulent with woody reddish stems and white & green variegated leaves. Popular to bonsai, tolerant of pruning (bonsai photo shows non-variegated variety from the Seattle botanical gardens via the Nishida Collection HI that has been in training since 1960!). Can get up to 6' tall if let to grow in a frost-free area. Let dry between waterings in well-drained soil, sun to part shade, protect from frost.
