Aloe

We grow two types of medicinal Aloe Vera, the thin leaf that pups readily, and the Barbadensis, which pups more rarely but blooms often. They both have the same medicinal gel in their leaves and we recommend them both for use as a skin treatment for burns and other conditions. Aloe are easy to grow, drought and heat tolerant, though somewhat sensitive to sunburn in full summer sun, and can be killed by very hard freezes.
