Kale

Family Brassicaceae. Kale is a member of the species Brassica oleracea, bred for edible leaves that do not form a head. Kale is cold hardy in Central Texas and becomes sweeter after a frost. Lone Star Nursery has specialized for years in growing rare types of organic kale.
