FIG 'Negronne' --Ficus carica--

Named after a town in the Bordeaux region of France where this variety is said to have come from. The striking, almost black fruits have a red flesh that has intense rich flavour! A-fig-cionados say that this variety is one of the very best. Produces crops in summer and fall.
