AMARANTH 'Hopi Red Dye'

The Hopi people call this variety Komo, and mix the magenta flower clusters into cornmeal for making pink-colored piki bread. The reddest seed heads of all amaranth! Baby leaves make a great salad green. 4-6' tall, great as a tall backing plant in the flower garden. 84 days bloom, 110 seed.
