ASIAN GREENS 'Red Komatsuna'

Small broad leaf mustard has a mild pungency and good red leaf and vein color that intensifies in cold weather. Similar to green mizuna but with less deeply cut margins. Vigorous salad green, well adapted for baby leaf production in containers or garden. Other Common Names: Kyona, mizuna mustard, pot herb mustard, shui cai, water vegetable, mizu-na, kyo-na, kyoto greens or kyomizu-na. Ideal for undercropping and intercropping. Like lettuce, harvest large outer leaves while allowing smaller leaves to mature or allow the entire plant to mature and harvest the entire head as well. Excellent for sukiyaki, shabu shabu, yosenabe, ohitashi, pickling and salads. 20-25 days baby, 40-50 days full. F1 Hybrid
