Salvia greggii --Compact Dark Violet Velvet Autumn Sage--

Sun-loving autumn sage with gorgeous purple blossoms and black calyces, blooms spring through fall, cold hardy to 0F! We got this variety along with a few other of the black-calyx velvet S. greggii's from an old timer nurseryman many years ago. Attracts butterflies & hummingbirds, deer resistant, drought tolerant. Performs best in full sun but tolerates part shade well. Well-drained soil. Height 2 to 3 feet with similar spread.
