AZTEC SWEET HERB --Lippia dulcis--

The Aztecs simply called this plant "Tzonpelic xihuitl", sweet herb - the leaves are intensely sweet and can be chewed like candy or added to salads for a pop of flavor. Dry and mix with any other tea herb for a naturally sweet blend. Can be used medicinally as an expectorant, as it also contains camphor. Cannot take a freeze, but grows great in container!
