BEAN 'Chinese Red Noodle' --Vigna unguiculata--

Fantastic deep red, 16-20" long pods grow in clusters up to 4 at a time, and are so delicious and nutritious, you'll be addicted! They even keep most of their color when sautéed - just don't steam them! They need frying to preserve their moisture and crisp up their skin.  Long vines produce all summer, do well under many conditions, and produce fairly early. Small red seeds look a bit like pinto beans. Pole style, needs trellising, and taller trellises give the beans plenty of room to grow long and straight. 80-85 days, Open Pollinated.
