BLACKBERRY 'Sweetie Pie Thornless' --Rubus fruticosus--

Thornless means fewer and softer thorns - we have not found a fully thornless blackberry yet. Very sweet, glossy fruit, with copious production! Ripens around June, for 2-4 weeks. Bred in Mississippi, this variety is quite heat-tolerant. Perennial root system, but each cane (stem) produces fruit in the second year. Resists double blossom. Needs nutrient rich soil and full sun, suitable for large containers.
