Tephrocactus geometricus --Geometric Cactus--

Showy, compact Opuntia cactus has gorgeous gray-green bulbous stem segments that redden to a rich purple in full sun. Blooms pale pink with a sunny yellow center, 5" flowers. Likes it dry, hot, and bright.
