Escobaria missouriensis var. similis --Missouri Foxtail Cactus--

This cactus is threatened in its native environment by fire ants and overgrazing. White spines make many-pointed stars that contrast beautifully with the deep green of the skin. Forms pointed yellow sunburst blooms & little scarlet fruits. up to 12" tall. Wants barely any water or humidity and needs to stay warm.
