Aka Cardinal Flower. Fast growing upright herbaceous perennial. Bright red flowers bloom summer through fall. Lance-shaped, dark green to burgundy foliage. Full sun to part shade. Height 3 to 4 feet, spread 1 to 2 feet. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer and rabbit resistant.
