CHAMOMILE 'German' --Matricaria chamomilla--

An annual plant in the aster family with an ancient history of being used for a variety of medicinal benefits, such as aiding inflammation, for sore stomach or IBS, and providing relaxing teas and as a gentle sleep aid. Lovely floral scent, and interestingly blue essential oil (sometimes called blue chamomile for this reason). Commonly used in the dried tea form of the flowers, great with a bit of honey.
