DANDELION GREENS --Taraxacum officinale--
This is a cultivated strain of common dandelion, selected for big tender leaves that hold longer. NOT a chicory, through root can be used the same way, roasted in oven until crisp and then grinding. Flowers can be made into wine. Leaves are great lightly wilted in salads with red wine vinaigrette, egg, and walnuts. 95 days.
