DEVIL'S TRUMPET 'Sacred Jimsonweed' --Datura wrightii--
Gorgeous Texas Native datura. Huge, fragrant white, upright trumpet shaped blossoms attract a plethora of hummingbird moths around dusk. Hardy fast-growing annual to 3 - 6 feet, with 4 - 8" leaves, self-seeds readily. Prickly seedpods lead to this sometimes being called thornapple. Traditional Native American ritual uses.
