Dyckia encholirioides x brevifolia 'Naked Lady'
Dyckia encholirioides x brevifolia 'Naked Lady'
Terrestrial bromeliad, up to a foot tall and 2 feet wide. Bright, fresh green pointy leaves are "naked" of spines along the margins, thus the name. With plentiful light, grows a flower spike of yellow-orange blooms in spring. Part to full shade, hardy to 20° F. Vulnerable to rabbits when planted at ground level. Possibly a hybrid of Dyckia encholirioides & brevifolia.
