EDIBLE GOURD 'Chinese Okra' --Luffa acutangula--

Highly productive gourd-bearing vine with fruit that matures 40 days after the flower sets. Green, edible fruit is tender & flavorful & grows up to 16" in length, 2" in diameter, & weighs ½ pound. When fresh and young, it has a texture and flavor somewhere between cucumber and zucchini and is great in stir fries and soups. This is a different plant than sponge luffa! 90 days mature.
