Dianella --Blue Flax Lily--

A little like a grass, a little like a yucca, this is a gorgeous evergreen xeriscaping and container option. Tolerant of heat and sun (prefers afternoon shade during the hottest part of the year), and drought once established, it's great for Texas yards. Small blue-violet flowers in mid spring that attract butterflies. Clumps are about 2x2', can be mass planted for ground-cover, or to spread, divide clumps in late fall. Deer resistant and tolerates poor soil and salt.
