Really cool Texas native! During a frost, stems split and let moisture seep out as it freezes, forming beautiful frost-flowers. AKA "White Crownbeard", produces heads of cool white flowers in autumn. Likes dappled shade, can grow to 6 feet. Attracts pollinators. Leaves historically smoked by some indigenous peoples.
