Teucrium chamaedrys --Wall Germander--

Mediterranean native ornamental, though it is in the mint family and has a nice scent, not used for  cooking but good for potpourri. Low, compact evergreen perennial with tiny, fragrant gray-green leaves and rose-pink flowers. Grows 1' to 2' tall and wide. Full sun, well-drained soil. Tolerates pruning well and grows back bushier, insect and deer resistant. Protect during hard freezes to prevent die-back, though it is root hardy to 0F and will regrow.
