AKA Woolly Verbena, Hoary Verbena. Upright perennial. Light purple flowers on tall spikes bloom late spring through fall. The gray-green leaves are fuzzy on both sides and are the larval host for the Common Buckeye Butterfly. Height 2 to 4 feet, spread 1 to 2 feet. Full sun to part shade. Well-drained soil. Attracts butterflies. Deer resistant. Drought tolerant.
