Andaman Mombin A medium-sized, dry deciduous tree with pinnate leaves and lemon-sized, edible fruits. Spondias pinnata is widely distributed in forests and savannas from Indochina to the western Pacific from low elevations to 1200 m. The tart, yellowish orange fruits are eaten raw, cooked or pickled, as are the leaves and flowers.
