Lonicera x. heckrottii --Goldflame Honeysuckle--

Wonderful fragrant blooming vine with gorgeous, pink & yellow clusters of slender trumpets that attract tons of hummingbirds and butterflies while remaining deer resistant. Climber needs trellising to climb 10-15', or will grow as a shrub without, up to 6' height/spread. Container friendly, mulch and prune regularly to encourage bushy new growth. Tolerates poor soil, heat, and drought once established, likes full sun. Cold tolerant to at least 20°F and some sources give all the way to 5°F, mulch well for harder freezes.
