HOPS 'Seed-Grown' --Humulus lupulus--

Hardy twining perennial vine, 20'. Used to flavor and add alcohol content to beer. Hops are in the hemp family, and can be used medicinally as a light sleep aid. Extract of the plant is anti-microbial and has been used as a natural deodorant. Young shoots can be eaten like asparagus.
