Lantana urticoides --Texas Lantana--
This is the classic Texas native variety. Referred to as Ham and Eggs Flower because it looks like a perfect eggs Benedict with its bright yellow center and orange hammy rim. Blooms well through the worst summer heat, feeding pollinators when almost nothing else does. Great for raised beds to show off the trailing fronds. Drought tolerant, likes full sun once established. Caution, berries are toxic to most mammals, though birds love them. Tolerates winter pruning well.
