LETTUCE 'Summertime'

Bred by Dr. James Baggett at Oregon State University in the 1980's with the objective to develop a head lettuce that would mature in summer’s heat without bolting. Consistently yields the highest percentage of usable heads in trials. The flavor is sweet & the texture is very juicy and crisp - GREAT salad or sandwich lettuce. 65-80 days, open-pollinated.
