LETTUCE 'Sweet Valentine'

A real 'sweetheart' of a lettuce, beautifully colored, with mild sweet taste. Beginning as an open shape like a a butterhead with rounded veined leaves, it matures into a romaine shape. Slow to bolt even in hot dry conditions. Flavor is more delicate, soothing and less bitter before it assumes romaine configuration, 55-65 days.
