MORNING GLORY 'Giant Moonflower' --Ipomoea alba--

Long climbing vines grow to 20 feet - giant white flowers can measure over 7 inches across! The flowers open quickly in the evening and last through the night, remaining open until touched by the morning dew. On overcast days, the blossoms may remain open for longer. Vigorous, easy to grow, and fragrant. Excellent for planting in night gardens, attracts pollinators. IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT EAT! All parts of this plant are toxic to humans and animals. Mesoamerican civilizations used the I. alba morning glory to convert the latex from the Castilla elastica tree to produce bouncing rubber balls.
