MULLEIN 'Purple' --Verbascum phoeniceum--

Mixed V. phoeniceum hybrids, in gorgeous shades of white, pink, salmon, and purple. Very cold-hardy European perennial sometimes called Roman Candles Mix with dramatic flower spikes up to 3' tall. Wonderful for cut flowers, deer resistant. The leaves are sometimes used in medicinal teas, but should not be taken in excess - mentholic compounds are expectorant and antimicrobial in small amounts.
