Vazaha A beautiful, small, dry deciduous tree to 12 m tall that sports green to gray, papery, flaking bark and pinnate leaves to 20 cm long with lanceolate leaflets. Commiphora aprevalii is native to dry forests in southern and southwestern Madagascar. In cultivation it is best suited to warm temperate and dry tropical climates. It is easily grown and can be formed into a bonsai tree.
