OKRA 'Jade'

Developed by the University of Arkansas and released around 1991. That wouldn't make it an heirloom, but it is an open pollinated variety and properly pollinated you can keep seed from it to replant next year. An early maturing okra that is extremely high yielding and tender. This okra does extremely well in late plantings compared to other okra. Plants average 4-5' tall and pods are best harvested around 6" long. 55 days.
