Chamaedorea elegans --Parlor Palm--

AKA "Neanthe bella", Mexican and Gatemalan native miniature palm trees make fantastic houseplants! Growing around 6-7' tall, they tolerate low levels of humidity and light, thought they prefer bright, indirect light and some humidity or misting on occasion. Cannot tolerate frost. Leaves hold up to 40 days after cutting, which makes them popular for arrangements. Included in NASA's list of top 50 air-cleaning plants!
