PEPPER 'Brown Jalapeño'

Very large (4-6"), milder style of jalapeño believed to have Ancho Mulato peppers somewhere in its ancestry. Starts green like any other, but ripens to a chocolatey reddish brown, with a smoky sweet flavor, great for stuffing, roasting, and sauces. Chiles are so large and heavy on a tall, 4' plant, that this one really needs stakes or a trellis. Delicious!
