PEPPER 'Sweet Banana'

Classic sweet and mild heirloom. Can be used successfully in a wide range of dishes, and is especially delicious pickled (though also great raw in salads, stuffed, fried, and roasted). More crisp with a bit of heat when harvested pale green, sweeter and softer if let to ripen to red. This is opposed to "hot banana" peppers, which get hotter as they ripen. Each 2 foot shrub can produce up to 20 peppers, matures quickly. 70 days. 0-500 SHU.
