Unusual! Cold-hardy pomegrante variety that has survived a -9º F winter with minimal damage. Selected for its large 2.5" diameter fruit, hardiness, and dark red to nearly black color. So loaded with anthocyanins that even the cambium is purple. Easy to grow and very productive, up to 8' tall, deer resistant. Reportedly hardy to -9º F on the East Coast.
