Hibiscus laevis --Halberdleaf Rosemallow--
You'll want this variety for the flowers AND the leaves - foliage is unusual, fresh spring green, trilobed with the center lobe as long as the pointed head of the proverbial "halberd" (up to 6" long). Grows to 6', forms a pretty batch of 5" blossoms palest pink with red-purple hearts in spring and summer. Full sun, heat and humidity tolerant as long as it gets enough water. Deer resistant, attracts pollinators.
