Salvia farinacea x longispicata --Indigo Spires Sage--

Vigorous blooming hybrid sage with big, big spikes of deep blue blossoms over large, lush green leaves in summer through fall. Blooming can be further encouraged by pinching stem tips early in the growing season and deadheading the spikes once they fade. Often sold as an annual, but returns in spring if soil is fertile and well-drained. Heat and drought tolerant. Attracts hummingbirds and pollinators. Full sun to dappled shade. Up to 4' tall.
