Asian native from China, Russia, etc. Attracts butterflies & hummingbirds. Kalmyks ate the cooked roots, and plant was used medicinally. Silver-green, velvety foliage. Lavender-pink rings of flowers bloom late spring through fall. Full to part sun. Well-drained soil. Height to 15". Deer resistant. Drought tolerant.
