Eryngium agavifolium --Agave-Leaf Sea Holly--

Named for its agave-like appearance - burst of spiny-edged leaves up to 2' across. Makes a large (up to 5') spike of blooms that look like dark brown pussy-willow blossoms, and work well in dried flower arrangements. Full sun, drought tolerant.
