SPINACH 'Sambu' --Alternanthera sissoo--

Sometimes called "Brazilian Lettuce", this is a great green for cooking (presence of oxalates make it not ideal for eating as a raw salad green), holds well through summer, unlike most spinach or lettuces, and has a crunchier texture than succulent greens. Can stay perennial if protected from cold.
