Very old heirloom originates from France around the 17th century. Crisp rich-green leaves up to 10", fast-maturing and can be harvested earlier than others. Semi-savoyed spinach, also known as "Monster Spinach" provides less oxalic acid than other varieties, and has sweeter flavor.
