Glandularia bipennitifida --Prairie Verbena--

Gorgeous purple-blooming plant sometimes called "Dakota Mock Vervain" or "Moradilla" from the Spanish for little purple one. Also sometimes referenced as "Verbena ambrosifolia" because Glandularia is part of the Verbena family and is closely related. Rounded clusters of blooms on gently mounded evergreen foliage up to 16" tall. Blooms continually March through October. Great in borders, butterfly gardens, containers. Full to part sun. Well-drained soil. Height 6 to 12 inches, spread 1 to 2 feet. Drought tolerant, deer resistant, attracts butterflies and hummingbirds, Texas Native.
