Ornamental Violets

These blooming perennials are related to Acanthas, and are a beautiful and a wonderful choice for the flower garden or porch containers. We don't recommend these for consumption, though some species have been used by various Indigenous communities medicinally.  For our edible violets, check out Heartsease and Sweet Violet, in the Viola genus.
