Collection: Sage
The Salvia family is quite broad and includes plants with a variety of scents, blooms, and foliage. This collection contains the sages intended as herbs, medicinals, and sacred uses like smudging. We like the strong aroma and flavor of salvias, which can be sharp, pungent, or smoky depending on the variety, and find Salvia extracta, or culinary sage, to be well suited to our climate and delicious in a variety of recipes. Salvias tend to be drought tolerant and sensitive to over-watering, heat and sun tolerant, and do well with pruning for bushier growth.
