Really unusual! This is a cross between brussels and kale, and each little "sprout" is an open and ruffly florette, around 2" across. Sweeter than either kale or brussels sprout and perfect to eat raw or as a cooked side dish. This matures around Christmas when planted in late August or early September. 125 days, F1 hybrid.
