FIG 'Ischia' --Ficus carica--

Sometimes called the "strawberry jam" fig for the sweet, jammy quality of the fruit - excellent flavor with complex notes. Tree is on the smaller size, and hardy in zone 8B. Excellent flavored yellow fig with pink flesh, great for fresh eating and making preserves - produces July to August. Self-pollinating, full sun, well-drained soil.
