MELON 'Delicious 51 Cantaloupe'

Ripens quickly, resulting in heavy yields of fruit with perfectly sweet flesh in dark orange with creamy texture, and a strong sugary flavor. Delicious 51 has thinner skin than other hybrids, but holds well for market and in storage. Excellent resistance to powdery mildew. Juicy, sweet flesh is dark orange/aromatic. Fruits average 2-3 lbs/netted with slight ribbing. Developed as an early variety of "Bender's Surprise". 75-85 days, open pollinated.
