MELON 'Piel de Sapo'

AKA Sharlyn/Santa Claus/Christmas/Frogskin melons are a rare Spanish variety. They are oval shaped with a thick hard rind. Skin is yellow and green mottled, and flesh is white with some hints of green. These melons grow nicely in heat and in dry areas. They are 8-12" long when fully ripe, and weigh 7-9 lbs. does well in hot and dry areas developing a unique pineapple-like flavor. OP
